Walking-floor

Walking-floor is a modern type of semi-trailer combining the functional advantages of both tippers and standard semi-trailers for transporting palletized loads. This specialized type of semi-trailer allows for the transport of both bulk materials such as grain, sawdust, sand, etc. as well as loads on pallets, bags or bales. Currently, walking-floor is the most universal type of semi-trailer, which ensures minimization of losses resulting from so-called “empty runs”.

The main functionality of this type of semi-trailer is the possibility of self-unloading regardless of the transported goods. The hydraulic floor of the semi-trailer uses the phenomenon of friction. The slats moving by the actuators forming the floor cause the goods to move in order to be gradually unloaded. At the same time, an additional advantage of this unloading system is the quick time needed for this process, which is about 15 minutes. Semi-trailers of this type are usually lightweight, which additionally increases the cargo space.
